Board and officials
The six founder and original members of IASN constituted themselves as the Board of the association upon its creation. Founder newspapers are represented in IASN Board by: Walter De Mattos (Lance!), Juan Ignacio Gallardo (Marca), Santiago Nolla Zayas (Mundo Deportivo) - president of the IASN, Ricardo Roa (Olé), Xavier Spender (L'Equipe), and Gianni Valenti (La Gazzetta dello Sport).
Santiago Nolla Zayas, the editor of Mundo Deportivo, was elected the first President of the association.
Rosarita Cuccoli, a specialist in international relations and corporate social responsibility, has been the Secretary General of IASN since its creation.
